PAM Cares is a musical outreach program partnering with local care providers to put CD’s and DVD’s of PAM performances in the homes of citizens whom may not be able to come to the concert stage. PAM Cares started with Hospice of the Comforter and Coalition of the Homeless and is reaching out to others in the care community, to bring the gift of community performance to the people that built this city.
PAM Cares Mission:
• Provide recorded DVDs of the Maitland Symphony Orchestra performances to the home bound population
• Partner with Community groups to out reach from;
• Hospice of the Comforter, Coalition of the Homeless, Fire and Rescue, ALF’s

PAM Cares serves the elderly and disabled in our community. It has placed initial DVD sets into the hands of home bound residents. PAM Cares has distributed 100+ DVD’s to Assisted Living Facilities including Winter Park Towers, the Mayflower, Savannah Court/Cove, Indigo Palms Maitland, Lake Mary Rehabilitation Center, Easter Seals Daybreaks, Eastbrooke Gardens, Jewish Pavillion and Horizon Bay Altamonte Springs. PAM Cares is a seed program. It connects the home bound to the community and the community to the home bound. Its long-term success will be to foster connectivity to the people that cannot make it to the concert halls and performance venues. The ultimate goal is to connect other service groups to the home bound populations by starting this path. PAMCares presents single piano players, ensembles and small musical groups play jazz, classical or acoustic music. PAMCares also coordinates inviting residents to the Maitland Symphony Orchestra dress rehearsals, and offers reserved seating at the MSO evening concerts. |

PAM Cares determines success by placement of the media in the home of the home bound recipients or providing live entertainment to visit assisted living facilities. This is accomplished through surveying the partnered organizations and being welcomed by their operations.
PAM Cares receives an annual sponsorship from the Maitland Women’s Club to support the performers. We thank the Maitland Women’s Club who’s mission is “the advancement of public interests in the Greater Maitland area including the literary, social and philanthropic endeavors.”
