PAM Cares is our newest endeavor. This program is a musical outreach program partnering with local care providers to put CD’s and DVD’s of PAM performances in the homes of citizens whom may not be able to come to the concert stage. PAM Cares has started with Hospice of the Comforter and Coalition of the Homeless and is reaching out to others in the care community, to bring the gift of community performance to the people that built this city.
PAM Cares Mission:
• Provide recoded DVDs of the PAM performances to the home bound population
• Partner with Community groups to out reach from;
• Currently (Hospice of the Comforter and Coalition of the Homeless)

Meet Laurie Rodriguez, the Director of PAM Cares.
| PAM Cares serves the elderly and disabled in our community. It has placed initial DVD sets into the hands of Hospice of the Comforter and Coalition for the Homeless. PAM Cares has distributed 100+ DVD’s to Assisted Living Facilities including Winter Park Towers, the Mayflower, Savannah Court/Cove, Indigo Palms Maitland, and Horizon Bay Altamonte Springs. PAM Cares is a seed program. It is a start to connect the home bound to the community and the community to the home bound. Its long-term success will be to foster connectivity to the people that cannot make it to the concert halls and performance venues. The ultimate goal is to connect other service groups to the homebound populations by starting this path. PAMCares has presented ensemble performances at various assisted living facilities. We offer small groups which play jazz, classical or acoustic music. PAMCares invites residents to open Maitland Symphony Orchestra dress rehearsals, and offers reserved seating at the MSO night concerts. |

PAM Cares determines success by placement of the media in the home of the home bound recipients. This is accomplished through surveying the partnered organizations.
In the future, PAM Cares will be offering a limited number of poetry workshops conducted by Sarah Prevatt-Harris of the Maitland Poets and Writers.
