Betsey Bone Mrs. Bone has spent the last 11 years directing and developing the Children's and Youth Choir programs in an area church. Prior to this she studied privately with Mollie Rich before she retired from Stetson University, sang with the Camerata Chorus of the Orlando Opera Co., as well as Orlando XIII, and the DaCapo Camerata. Mrs. Bone was a Resident Artist for the Orlando Opera Co. in 1990 - 91. During the summer of 1992, Mrs. Bone was a student at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria. She received her BME from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL in 1982 and went on to teach music in a Middle School in Alton, IL for two years. She has grown up surrounded by music and shares her love and appreciation of it with her husband, Dan, and two children, Emily and Jeffrey.

Margaret Patten Margaret has a versatile background as a pianist, organist, flutist, composer, conductor and teacher. She received the International Grand Trophy for Composition in Ottawa, Canada, and her works have been performed in the Kennedy Performing Arts Center in Washington, D. C. and at universities and churches throughout the United States. Ms. Patten has performed as soloist and faculty accompanist throughout the United States. She has taught on the faculties of Merced College, California, Texas Wesleyan College (Arlington, Texas), and Valencia Community College, Orlando. She has performed as a professional accompanist throughout the United States and Canada and has been faculty accompanist at the colleges listed above as well as at the State University of New York (Plattsburg), and the University of Central Florida, Orlando. Ms. Patten has been Director of Music at The First Presbyterian Church of Maitland and currently is Artistic Director and Conductor of the Maitland Symphony Orchestra. She has a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Music in Performance from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, with postgraduate study at the University of Texas (Arlington), and Texas Christian University (Fort Worth). Ms Patten has a private teaching studio for organ, piano, flute, and composition in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

Sabina Micarelli has performed solo and chamber music concerts in many parts of the United States, France, and Mexico and has been guest soloist with numerous orchestras. She has recorded solo and chamber music for Golden Crest Records in New York and has given a recital in New York’s Carnegie Recital Hall. Ms. Micarelli taught violin, viola and chamber music at the University of Central Florida and Rollins College in Winter Park Florida. She has performed with the Bach Festival Orchestra and chamber ensembles. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota where she studied with Karl Scheurer, a protégé of Joseph Joachim and Karl Halir. She was awarded a Fulbright Grant to study at the Paris Conservatory of Music. While in France, she was soloist and concertmistress of the University of Paris Chamber Orchestra. She has a private studio for the teaching of violin, viola and chamber ensembles.

Dr Jeff Flowers Jeff grew up in Central Florida, and is a Winter Park High School graduate. He graduated from San Jose State, CA with a B.A. in mathematics and a B.S. in chemistry, and from the University of California with a Ph.D. in Chemistry before returning to Central Florida to work in the family business. Jeff is a violist in the MSO Orchestra and President of the Performing Arts of Maitland. He has lived in Maitland for 16 years. He is a small business owner of Flowers Chemical Laboratories, an environmental testing firm, in Altamonte Springs. Dr. Flowers has been an active committee member of The National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference for 11 years. He and his wife June live in the Hollieanna Shores area.

Norma Huff Norma is a feisty redhead & a cellist of premier stature in Central Florida. Born into a musical family she quickly became an accomplished musician, playing with the Grand Rapids Symphony in High School and performing concertos with the Grand Rapids Junior Symphony and the Calvin College Orchestra. After a brief stint with hippiedom she played with many orchestras; Greensboro, Birmingham, Puerto Rico, Jacksonville, Naples and the now defunct Florida Symphony Orchestra. Presently Ms. Huff is a part time member of the Orlando Philharmonic. The rest of her time is spent freelancing. Besides Disney, conventions, churches, weddings and the OPO, the most rewarding part of her career is chamber music. Ms. Huff is now completing her second year as cellist for the Clara Schumann Trio. Away from music Ms. Huff is proud to be the mother of two wonderful girls, and tours the US on her Harley with her husband Tim.

Clara Schumann Trio The Clara Shumann Trio was formed in the summer of 1992, and has been playing to enthusiastic audiences in the Central Florida area. Sabina Micarelli, violinist, Norma Huff, cellist, and Margaret Patten, pianist have extensive backgrounds in both solo and chamber music performance. As a trio, their playing has an outstanding sense of ensemble and demonstrates an elegant style and flair for the music. Their repertoire is chosen from well-known standard works as well as music by women composers such as Clara Schumann, the trio’s namesake.
