Performing Arts Of Maitland

Maitland Farmers Market

M3

The Performing Arts of Maitland now sponsors local songwriters, singers and musicians every Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm at the Maitland Farmer's Market. Maitland's beautiful Quinn Strong Park is located between Packwood and Ventris Avenues, which is snuggled between the Art Center and the Library, directly behind the Maitland Senior Center. Market vendors and shoppers enjoy the live sounds of PAM sponsored musical performers. There are picnic tables alongside the gazebo stage, and plenty of park area to enjoy.
Come out and support the Farmers Market vendors and enjoy great local music.
Musicians perform from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Cheryl Anderson “Blue’s Mama”
Cheryl Anderson (aka Blue’s Mama) has been performing in and around the Orlando area for the last 20 years.  From Albany NY, she started off in Rock and Roll as a teen, then moved on to Disney for a while.  She then hit the dance club scene and since then has run the gamut all the way from backing Jessica Simpson to being a worship team leader for the First Presbyterian church of Maitland. An eclectic mix ! Cheryl often performs solo and sings with a classic rock band called The Standing Hamptons.
Recently, for the past 7 years, she has hosted the open mic night at Tom & Jerry’s every Monday night. This which puts Cheryl in the perfect position to help feature local singer/songwriters at our Farmer’s market every other Sunday
